It’s been a great couple of weeks in the news for President Joe Biden and you can just feel it in the air: the country is coming to grips with the fact that while Biden is probably no one’s first choice, it’s going to be a repeat of Biden versus Trump.
Love the graphic showing the surge in fundraising for Biden. For the sake of our democracy, I am working to keep the maga GOP out of office . I have many fears about the "shadow government" reportedly already set up and ready to go with the orange cretin as president. What will happen when he loses again Nov 2024. Red state governors calling out their National Guard to seize power at the Capitol? Is that just crazy for me to have that fear?

Hey Stan, of course you are welcomed to use what you like. I am responding to this after the pathetic SCOTUS hearing on sec 3 of the 14th Amendment. I see our brakes on fascism failing. The threat of violence and retribution from the magats and their orange cult leader appears to be wearing away on democracy. It appears ( and so the pundits say) rather than apply the rule of law, SCOTUS will side step the issue with the argument that one state will have too much influence if they uphold Colorado's ruling to ban Trump from the ballot.. I am not a lawyer, but why didn't Jack Smith charge trump with insurrection? Can Smith go back and add that charge now? and then will SCOTUS uphold Amendment 14? Or s this just the first chip away at Equal Protection ?
Those are great questions. And I'm still putting a lot of thought into your first question. I'm still torn about writing a post on it, because I don't want to be alarmist, but I do have some thoughts on how such a thing would likely go down. Thanks again for your permission to use it!
